This oil-rich ointment maintains and moisturizes the hoof. The presence of tar in its composition preserves the horn and the frog from the humidity of the ground or the litter.

The black grease is applied daily in wet periods, it hydrates the hoof and prevents the rotting of the fork thanks to the presence of tar.

The Black Ointment of the Farrier is particularly recommended in wet periods or for horses staying in the box.

Thanks to its formula essentially composed of laurel oil and cod liver oil, the Black Farrier's Ointment allows a good maintenance and an optimal hydration of the horn. It preserves the elasticity and the robustness of the hoof and guarantees a healthy foot.
