Sacrificial pliers

Sacrificial pliers : For poultry and large pigeons. Just after the slaughter, either by electronarcosis or other, the pliers facilitate the bleeding.
Stainless steel blade.

Advice for use:

Hang the bird by the legs.
Take its head in the left hand and press strongly with the thumb at the base of the skull.
The bird's beak will be wide open.
Insert the blade of the pliers flat so that it is placed in the bottom of the throat.
Turn the pliers 1/4 of the way around so that the blade is vertical. In this way, the hollowed-out part of the sacrificial forceps will be on the bird's skull, just behind the crest. The tip of the blade should be at the bottom of the slightly sloping throat.
The forceps are in place. Close energetically to kill the bird.

The blade cuts the artery, the bleeding must be abundant and the muscles relax which allows a quick and efficient plucking.
