Full Description

The SOLARIS system has been designed to make the EGG TECH® 49 incubator from River Systems self-sufficient in electrical power.

The incubator thus modified and associated with SOLARIS can operate from different energy sources:

- With batteries, until the charge is completely exhausted

- With batteries + solar panel (the system cannot operate with solar panels only, without the battery support)

- With electricity from the grid.

For the operation of SOLARIS a direct current of 24V is required, which allows it to be powered by two 12V car batteries connected in series. Depending on the capacity of the batteries chosen, it is possible to obtain a greater or lesser autonomy in the event of a power cut.

We suggest to use two 12V car batteries of minimum 44Ah. If you decide to couple the batteries to solar panels, the autonomy is total. Depending on the level of radiation in the installation area, it is possible to power the incubator during the day and, at the same time, recharge the batteries which will then provide the necessary energy during the night or in case of lack of solar radiation.

SOLARIS also allows your incubator to operate on the electrical network. SOLARIS can be supplied with voltages between 90VAC and 264VAC, is equipped with overload protection and complies with

European Union standards. SOLARIS, in addition to allowing the operation of the incubator, charges the batteries if present.

When the incubator is connected to both the mains and the solar panel, the SOLARIS module is set to give priority to the absorption of solar energy in order to minimize the consumption of mains electricity.

Add two batteries and the panels will recharge them to take over during the night.

Requires one solar panel and two 12V batteries to operate autonomously.

Delivered without solar panel or 12V battery. The kit includes the ET49 incubator modified to allow the different connections and the solaris module.
